- Clean Fuels Advanced Technology Project (CFAT) - Funded by the N.C. Department of Transportation and administered by the NC Clean Energy Technology Center, this grant is focused on reducing transportation related emissions in NC counties that have air quality concerns.

- Volkswagen Settlement - North Carolina will receive approximately $92 million of the $2.9 billion settlement allocated for projects through th EPA's Environmental Mitigation Trust.
